I met Fabiana in high school; she has been one of my best friends. She began her business, Triton Florals Design, in 2020 creating the most whimsical and dreamy flower arrangements in Naples, Florida. She’s one of my favorite people in the world. 1. Your nicknames? Some people call me Fabi. Gina calls me “Fabs” haha
2. What inspires you and how it reflects in your business? I am inspired by flowing beauty and nature. You might see it in my floral designs; none of them are perfect or symmetrical just like in nature.
4. A fact you learned about owning a dog? My life is 1000% better with Luna in it. She loves (LOVES) food and will look as cute as possible to guilt you into giving it to her, which usually works.
5. Your favorite thing, “can’t live without?” Apart from my dog, my wireless earbuds. I can’t work without music or true crime podcasts!
6. Favorite meal? Oh, this is a hard one, but if I HAD to choose it’d be my mom’s chicken stroganoff, it’s the best!
7. Tips for giving or receiving flowers? Trust the designer, and know that the person receiving them will love them no matter what. As for receiving them, make sure you try to change the water at least every two days.
8. Your best advice for life, business, relationship, or self-improvement? I don’t have it all figured out, but it would be to make sure you’re enjoying the present moment, don’t live in the past or future.
My business advice would be to network with other small businesses; referrals can be helpful. Also, always be polite and respectful, but don’t let anyone try to walk over you just because you’re just starting.
As for relationships, I think the best advice I could give is to really respect each other. Never yell, and make sure you’re both in it just as much as the other.
I think we should never stop trying to improve ourselves. We know we’ll never be perfect, but we can try to be even a tiny bit of a better and a more self-aware person each day.
