Hello! We’re really excited (and scared) to do this, but here we go. We are opening doors to our business, Happy Bark Days! it’s about dogs, one of our favorite topics.
This is a niche lifestyle blog for families with dogs and cats (we have a lab named penny and a cat named Dora- and there are no favorites.)

Let us begin with this. We love dogs. And we love cats.
We started dreaming about our business in the year of the dog (clever, but honestly just good timing!) but, as luck would have it, we waited three years to take the steps to making it a reality.
It was really difficult when founder Gina Castro Soriano joined the armed forced (the constant moving is not good for starting a business…) and then, well, COVID-19, of course.
We knew wanted to start in October because it’s our favorite month. There’s something simply magical about October that we can’t put a finger on. (Dogs love fall, too!)
So, here we are.
We knew that we wanted to create an inspirational space for discovering the top pet trends, products and ways to celebrate with your pet (here’s a blog about dogs wearing hats). We also thought, why not be a hub of inspiration that keeps our business running? In many ways, our niche blog is a little bit of lifestyle, because really, our business and personal lives run together. It’s like a little bit of us on the internet. So, welcome to our lives! (By the way, The Office reruns are so so good.)
