One of the most well-known uses of rubbing alcohol is as a disinfectant. A quick wipe with rubbing alcohol can remove germs, and when used on the skin, it can leave underarms clean, hygienic, and fresh. It also won’t leave residue, unlike deodorant, even the ones they claim are “invisible”! It comes with a warning that it may irritate, but from personal experience, it is the best deodorant ever, and it was sitting in the medicine cabinet all this time.
Kills Germs, Kills Smells
One of the most well-known uses of rubbing alcohol is as a disinfectant. Post-shower, I like to give my underarms a generous spritz. A quick wipe with rubbing alcohol can remove germs, leaving surfaces clean and hygienic.
Cool to the Touch
Rubbing alcohol has a cooling effect on the skin. Applying a small amount to the affected area can provide a cooling sensation while eliminating smelly smells under the arms, thanks to its evaporative properties. It’s like a magical potion, and it’s probably already in your medicine cabinet. I challenge you to find a bottle and try it! (like right now! three, two one, GO!)
Using alcohol-based products was the best experiment for me to discover that it is a great deodorant in a pinch and used daily. I spray it under my arms after every shower, especially in the summer months.

I prefer to use 91% isopropyl alcohol because it is more practical, from using it under my arms as a deodorant to general first aid.
If you want something with a little more *sparkle *, I use alcohol-based sanitizer in a pinch.
